Michael Begin
Founder
Mike’s Information Technology career spans many decades. From 1976 to 1988, Mike excelled in IBM Computer Operations, IBM Network Analyst, Cobol and Assembler programming, IBM Internal Network Systems Programming, and eventually Personal Computer networking and support. Mike was directly responsible for the Business Continuity Planning and testing of Disaster Recovery policies and procedures for the large corporations Mike worked at.
Mike was hired at People’s Bank in 1988, as the Senior IBM Systems Network Architect. In 1998, he became the VP of the Client Services department which serviced 5000 Dell PCs throughout Connecticut. Mike led five IT managers and thirty-three PC technicians to support this large network of bank departments and staff.
Mike left People’s Bank in 2003 to expand his own IT consulting company, which he started in 1995. Mike’s decades of working within corporate IT gave him the knowledge and experience to meet his client’s needs while protecting those clients against data loss.
Over the years, Mike has hired an exceptional team of IT professionals that mirror his passion for helping CT businesses using state-of-the-art IT methods. Attention to detail, meeting and exceeding client expectations, honoring service level agreements, protecting against data loss, and honest pricing has led to Mike’s career successes.
Jared Begin
President & CEO
Jared graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s degree. Jared is an exceptional technician with equally exceptional communication skills. Jared’s role as President makes him responsible for all the day-to-day business operations and is the point of contact for many of Millennium’s clients and vendors. Jared’s amazing capacity to recall minuscule details of all our client’s IT environments often serves Millennium well. Jared has been with MTS since 2009.
Rich Tirloni
Vice President
Rich is a very technically oriented individual with exceptional customer service skills. As Vice President and the most senior tech, Rich assists the other techs to solve difficult problems with innovative solutions. Rich can easily handle any IT challenge requiring strategic network planning, ongoing management, and compliance needs to ensure security and reliability of IT assets. Rich has been with Millennium since 2015.
Pat Tottenham
Sales and Service Manager
Pat has 20+ years of experience as an IT Operations and Client Services Manager at People’s United Bank, including Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery exercises. Pat’s experience managing the Bank’s Helpdesk and working as a manager in Client Services, overseeing a department managing 500 computers, made him the perfect fit to be Millennium’s Service Manager. Pat also functions as our Sales Manager selling our services to potential clients in an effort to keep MTS growing. Pat has been with MTS since 2016.
Melanie Battaglino
Office Administrator/Accounts
Payable and Receivable
Melanie comes from a long line of IT related jobs with her longest job at People’s Bank where she worked for 20+ years. Melanie is a very pleasant person to work with who has a lot of compassion for clients in their moments of computer-related needs. Melanie is responsible for ensuring all the monthly invoices are accurate and fair. Melanie receives the payments and processes them accordingly. She has been with MTS since 2013.
Zyad Fawaz
Technical Consultant
Zyad has many years of experience as a systems and solutions IT engineer. Zyad graduated from the University of Tun Abdul Razak in Malaysia with a master’s degree in information technology. He has achieved certifications in A+, Network +, and is a certified SonicWall firewall technician. Zyad thinks outside of the box and is a big contributor of sound ideas for MTS as we grow our company. Zyad has been with MTS since 2018.
Raphael Bortolli
Technical Consultant
Raphael is a persistent, energetic, and passionate tech. Raphael studied Information Technology and Computer Information Systems at the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil. He can handle complex projects and resolve challenging problems with ease. Raphael’s many years of IT experience and pleasant demeanor make him a pleasure to work with. He speaks three languages fluently and has taught IT related courses to community colleges. Raphael has been with MTS since 2018.
Chris Roscello
Technical Consultant
Chris graduated from Gateway Community College with a degree in Computer Science. His expertise, problem solving and dedication to Millennium and our clients is second to none. In his time with Millennium, Chris has grown into a superior technician with whom the clients love to work with. Besides spending much of his time working with computers, Chris plays four musical instruments and speaks three languages. Chris has been with MTS since 2019.
Andrew Lewis
Technical Consultant
Andrew, a Marine Veteran, is an IT Professional with experience building and managing numerous enterprise-wide data centers under harsh conditions. Andrew has earned several awards for deployments ahead of schedule and data center operations that exceeded expectations. His ability to work in high pressure situations has made him an invaluable asset to our organization and our clients. Andrew has been with Millennium since 2022.
Robert Nunez
Technical Consultant
Rob is a goal-oriented Information Technology Professional with decades of experience. He has an exceptional work ethic; he comes in early and stays late to service our client’s needs. He is experienced in proactively taking measures to reduce and combat security threats, boost system reliability, and minimize unnecessary expenditures. Rob is an excellent multitasker who can quickly switch gears when needed. His calm disposition – regardless of the situation – puts our clients at ease. Rob has been with Millennium since 2021.
Daniel Melendez
Technical Consultant
Prior to Daniel diving into the world of Information Technology, he worked in the medical industry. He has his Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) Cert, CPR Cert, DDS Med Cert, and he has a Culinary Arts NOCTI Cert. In the IT world, Daniel passed the IT Fundamentals+, A+, Security+, VSA Kaseya Technician Program certifications. Daniel’s exceptional communication skills and ability to learn quickly have made him an important member of the Millennium team. Daniel has been with Millennium since 2021.
Brenda Buckley
Purchasing Agent
Brenda is a detail-oriented team player with strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as extensive computer and various software application experience. Brenda is the Purchasing Agent for our clients. Brenda researches what the client needs and purchases industry-leading products at the best prices available. She also manages Millennium’s ever-growing inventory, so we always have the parts our clients need. Brenda has been with Millennium since 2022.

Lily, MTS Mascot
Mike’s dog Lily is a Pomeranian Husky (PomSky) that was born February 24, 2019. Lily greets our clients with lots of kisses and probably her biggest job here at MTS is playing, sleeping, and looking adorable.
Monk, MTS Mascot
Pat’s dog Monk is a 7-year-old Lab Mix Rescue dog who has been with MTS for 2 years. He is a sweet, obedient and friendly dog that likes to sleep. When he is not sleeping, he can be found lounging in the sun on warm days, following Pat all around the office or sitting at Melanie’s desk looking for food. His charm and friendly demeanor are a definite asset to the company.
